STATUS
The Gates Cambridge program gives future leaders the opportunity to study fully funded in the UK. Every year, around 70 scholarships are awarded to applicants from outside the UK. The scholarships are designed for pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in any subject.
Financial Coverage
- University tuition fee is covered in full
- A maintenance allowance for a single student of £23,152 per year
- One economy class airfare at both the beginning and end of the course
- Inbound visa costs and Immigration Health Surcharge
- Additional funding for academic development, family allowances, and fieldwork
Who Can Apply?
- Citizens of any country outside the United Kingdom
- Applicants applying for a Master's or PhD course
- Outstanding intellectual ability
- A commitment to improving the lives of others and leadership potential
