STATUS
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam offers the VU Fellowship Programme (VUFP) grant for international students. This program is designed to support talented young people and provides a 100% tuition fee waiver. Additionally, an NL Scholarship of €5,000 may be awarded to help with living expenses.
Who Can Apply?
- Be a citizen of a country outside the European Union or the EEA
- Not hold Dutch citizenship
- Be able to prove high academic performance (GPA equivalent to a Dutch grade of 8)
- Have received conditional or unconditional admission to an English-taught full-time Master's program
Important Dates

How to Apply?
- Register for the Master's program via Studielink and complete your application in your personal portal on vu.nl.
- After receiving conditional admission to the Master's program, fill out the application form.
- Combine your GPA document, transcript, and grading system explanation into a single PDF file.
- Upload the document to the 'Scholarship' section of your personal portal on vu.nl.
